Simpleton

Simpleton is a first WordPress theme released by Fresh01. As the name suggests, the designer went for a simple two-column layout, focusing on the content, rather than flashy graphics.

The content area for the front page were divided into three sections where the latest post as core content, and two sections to accommodate recent posts, recent comments and popular posts respectively. Well, quite an interesting structure though.

I don’t know how it works for you but my attempt to validate the theme produced about 18 errors on the html coding. Something worth checking to say the least. 2-3 errors should be fine but 18? I won’t touch on the color as it can be easily change later on.

There’s something funny about the footer as you may see. There are 3 separate lines altogether whereas you can merge them into a single line. I don’t know how you judge it but as if my case, I combine those links into single line, and making it look orderly positioned. Overall, this is a great theme.
